This year's lecture, "Supporting people to live well and die well with chronic pain", will be delivered by Professor Candy McCabe and will honour the life and work of Felicia Cox FRCN, MSc, RN, whose outstanding contributions to pain management, nursing leadership, research, education, and professional organisations have had a lasting impact on the field and the first nurse to receive this honour.

The event will be chaired by Professor Michelle Briggs and Professor Roger Knaggs.

A short appreciation of Felicia Cox’s life and achievements will be given by Dr Gillian Chumbley OBE.
