Undergraduate students are required to register for 120 credits in Year 1. Generally, this is eight modules - 60 credits in each semester. However, some programmes have year-long modules meaning there is an imbalance across the two semesters.
All programmes have compulsory modules which you are automatically registered for but depending on your programme you may need to select optional modules to achieve 120 credits.
Programme Structures provide an overview of your compulsory and optional modules. Your optional module choices must be selected in Liverpool Life when you register. Registration is expected to open in early September 2019 – you are strongly advised to complete the registration process before you arrive.
Introductory programme sessions during Welcome Week will provide the opportunity to talk to staff about your module choices and a two week window at the beginning of each semester allows you to amend your optional modules.
View your Teaching Timetable
Your academic timetable can be found on Liverpool Life during Welcome Week and updates will normally feed through within 24 hours of module registration.
Please be aware that there may be changes to your timetable over the first few weeks of term so please check your online timetable regularly.
A number of Apps are available to students from the University App Store – one of which is the handy timetable app.
