Summary
I am dedicated to communicating my work and research as widely as possible. I believe it is important to share the enthusiasm I have for the natural environment with a non-scientific audience - and let's be honest, nature is awesome! Below are just a few things I've been involved in:
- Visiting expert at the Natural History Museum's Science Uncovered event.
- Developed an environmental education and awareness programme for school children in the Seychelles.
- Public speaker on behalf of the Marine Turtle Research Group, Northern Cyprus.
- Invited expert at Global Action Plan's national and international Water Explorer celebration events (in partnership with HSBC).
- Guest speaker as part of an online science and nature radio feature.
- Ambassador for the Marine Biological Association.
Conference Roles
- Keynote speaker, Insect Evolutionary Ecology Seminar. “Body size plasticity and temperature in arthropods.”, Keynote/Plenary by Invitation (University of Tartu, Estonia, 2017)
