Personal Statement

I joined as the Alan Price Postdoctoral Teaching Fellow in September 2022 after earning my PhD from the University of Leeds in June 2022. I teach across a range of undergraduate and MA modules at the University of Liverpool, including broad first-year survey modules such as Literature in Time (2022) and Literature and Place (2023), as well as more specialist and advanced modules such as Postcolonial Literature and Theory (2022). Broadly, my research and teaching interests span postcolonial literatures and cultures, African literatures, oceanic literatures, and literatures of slavery and empire.

My Academic Support hours for Semester 1 (2022) are: Mondays 11am-12pm (online) and Tuesdays 4pm-5pm (in-person/online).
