International Students' Bridging Programme

The English Language Centre's In-Sessional English team are contributing to the University of Liverpool's International Students' Bridging Programme, specially designed for students whose courses begin in late 2020 and early 2021.

The course is designed to provide a valuable opportunity to develop relevant skills, learn more about the University of Liverpool and our academic culture, and meet fellow students also joining the University in early 2021.

For more information, and to find out about how how to register for the programme, please see the University's dedicated pages here.

In-Sessional Support at the English Language Centre

The English Language Centre is a University of Liverpool facility which works closely with departments in designing courses which relate to core academic modules, and help to develop the skills that you will need to be successful on your programme. For example, using key texts relating to your subject area, considering language issues relating to a lecture or assignment, or helping you prepare for an assessment or examination.

If English is not your first language the ELC also offers Academic Language and Skills (ALS) classes tailored to different subject areas across the University, to help you succeed in your studies. This support is free, and offered throughout the academic year.

You can find out more about the ongoing support for current students on our dedicated pages here.
