The aim of the BEng programme is to develop to Honours degree level engineering graduates who possess knowledge, skills and competencies (as defined by UK-SPEC) to pursue a successful professional career in engineering that meet the requirements of industry. The training will provide graduates with a deep knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, a broad knowledge of technical and non-technical subjects and skills to practice engineering and develop their career to any scientific, technical or managerial level worldwide.

PROGRAMME LENGTH: 4 YEARS

The expectation is that the integrated Master’s programme will provide additional opportunities to develop leadership skills to a higher level and will enable graduates to attain a leadership position in industry or academia. The four-year programme satisfies the academic requirements for registration as a Chartered Engineer (CEng). Students are offered opportunities in the final year to extend their research skills and study a specialist topic.
