A-Level results day...what now?

Posted on: 6 August 2021 in Blog posts

With A-Level results day just around the corner, we wanted to summarise what will happen after you get your results.

UPDATED 11/08/21 - Unfortunately, we do not now have any clearing and adjustment vacancies for 2021 entry.

A-Level results will be released on Tuesday 10th August 2021 and we hope you are proud of all your hard work that has made you reach this point.

Results day can be a really stressful time, and some of you might not get the results you expected, but do not worry!

Whether you did better or worse than you hoped, you can still apply and start University in September 2021!

Welcome to Student Services

You will go through the Clearing process if you didn't meet the conditions of your current offers, or you haven't applied for a course yet, and you will go through the Adjustment process if you got better results than expected.

Clearing

Clearing is the process of filling places that we have left on our courses.

So, you can use Clearing if:

  • you’re applying after 30th June 2021
  • you didn’t receive any offers (or none you wanted to accept)
  • you didn’t meet the conditions of your offer

Refresh yourself with the entire clearing process here

Find information on how to accept or decline your clearing offer here.

Clearing will open at 8.30am on Tuesday 10th August 2021 but you can save yourself time on results day by starting your application for our clearing courses in advance here

  • You can find the Adjustment option on the choices screen in UCAS track.
