Dr Mohammad Alomari BSc, MSc, PhD

Personal Statement

Mohammad is currently a Research Fellow at the Department of Computer Science of the University of Liverpool, working as a Senior AI Consultant at Simmplify Ltd. He received his B.Sc. and M.S. degrees in Electrical Engineering (Communications and Electronics) from Jordan University of Science and Technology, Irbid, Jordan, in 2005 and 2006, respectively and the Ph.D. degree from the University of Bradford in 2009. His research interests include applications of machine learning algorithms, deep learning, NLP, AI, smart and green buildings, solar PV applications, space weather and solar energy, computer vision, brain-computer interface, and digital image processing.

Summary
I am an academic turned data analyst and machine learning specialist who loves building real-world AI and automation systems. My multidisciplinary ML research experience range from processing space weather data and solar images, EEG signals, to solar PV and weather data. Right now, I'm working on an AI project to process legal documents and conveyancing cases. Main skills: Python, ML & DL, NLP, MATLAB, leadership & management
