HARC lab

An impressive body of knowledge

The Human Anatomy Resource Centre (HARC) is a dedicated facility for the teaching of human anatomy over a range of undergraduate curricula, alongside offering postgraduate and continued professional development (CPD) courses. HARC plays a central role in the Anatomy and Human Biology BSc (Hons) course which was recently ranked 1st in the country in the Guardian League table, and is one of only a few degree programmes to offer human dissection to undergraduate students.

A team consisting of academic staff, demonstrators and technical support work together in the 1500m2 facility to utilise over 600 anatomical models, 1000 prosected human specimens and the latest technological resources to deliver an exceptional level of teaching.
