The Certificate in Professional Studies Learning and Teaching in Higher Education (CPS)

This information is for those currently registered on the CPS programme which is being taught out in 2018-19 - no further enrolments are being taken for this course.

Two new programmes have been introduced to support colleagues who teach:

  1. The Foundations of Learning and Teaching in Higher Education programme which is designed for those new to teaching, including those with minimal teaching; the FLTHE leads to Associate Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy. 
  2. The Postgraduate Certificate Academic Practice is designed for those new to teaching and have substantive and significant teaching responsibilities; the PGCAP leads to Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy.
