Biography

Clare has been a Consultant in Paediatric Rheumatology since 2012. She has developed the paediatric Behcet’s service linked to the National Centre of Excellence for Behcet’s in Liverpool. Her areas of clinical and research expertise include both juvenile scleroderma and Behcet’s.  She has chaired the UK scleroderma topic specific group (an open group to facilitate research collaboration within juvenile scleroderma) and is co-chair of the NIHR CRN: children/Arthritis Research UK Paediatric Rheumatology Clinical Studies Group. She has led several multi-centre research studies.

  • Led research within juvenile scleroderma and has active program of research under development
