Student success at the RCSEd & Dentsply Sirona National Student Dental Skills Competition 2022

Congratulations to Alice Sherrard, BDS Year 5, who finished third in the national clinical student’s skills competition held at the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh on the 3^rd March 2022.

Dental students from 18 dental schools across the UK and Ireland, competed in this year’s competition in a bid to uncover the next generation of dental surgeons. The competition is open to all final year dental students.

 

Professor Barry Quinn, Professor of Restorative Dentistry & Dental Education, expressed his congratulations for the student; “This is an excellent performance by Alice and is greatly deserved and a credit to the teaching of the School of Dentistry.”
