Numerous Successes for Dental School Students
The Dental School would like to recognise the fantastic achievements of its students. A great number across the school have received awards, been shortlisted for prizes, taken on new committee roles and have been accepted to present posters and presentations at conferences.
The following students have been successful in achieving awards / presentations at national conferences / external committee roles in the 2018-2019 academic year:
- Aidan Yates second place in the national RCSEd dental skills competition
- Dan Dadnam winner of the British Society of Dental and Maxillofacial Radiology essay competition
- Erin Jaffray elected as President of British Dental Student Association and Vice Chair for British Dental Association Student Committee
- Elspeth Petrycki and Ajay Phull shortlisted for the BSDH (British Society for Disability and Oral Health) poster prize
The following students have been shortlisted for the BSPD UG Poster Prize at the BSPD conference in September 2019 (with citeable DOI and publication in IJPD):
