Prof Luke Dawson awarded the Liverpool Guild of Students award for Teacher
Prof Luke Dawson has been awarded the Liverpool Guild of Students award for Teacher of the Year 2018 for Health and Life Science. Prof Dawson has championed the use of the flipped classroom methodology for teaching clinical reasoning skills within the School of Dentistry and has developed engaging online resources to replaces the traditional didactic lecture content.
Feedback from these session has been overwhelming well received with 89% of students reporting that they found this style of session more engaging and useful than the traditional lectures which they replace. Students reported that Prof Dawson "delivers lectures that are interactive and engaging, as well as giving great feedback to students who value his support and dedication"
