Emma Morgan Elective Prize April 2018
Emma Morgan, 5th BDS, has been awarded the British Society of Paediatric Dentistry National Student Elective Prize for her project: A survey of final year dental students’ awareness and preparedness for #DCby1. Supervised by Laura Gartshore, Senior Lecturer & Honorary Consultant in Paediatric Dentistry, this important and topical research has informed the development of teaching within the School, and has provided an opportunity for the future dental workforce to consider their role in helping children achieve optimal oral health. Further to her success to date, Emma has entered an abstract for the British Society of Paediatric Dentistry Research Prize, and looks forward to presenting her research at the British Society of Paediatric Dentistry Annual Conference in Dundee in September 2018.
