Update: Further measures undertaken to address Stream performance

Computing Services apologises for the extended disruption to the Stream service.

We identified a series of steps to be taken in succession in order to restore the service, some of which were implemented in the last two weeks.

Over the last 48 hours we have increased the capacity of the service, which should result in improved video playback performance.

Further work is scheduled to be undertaken in the coming weeks to improve the resilience of the service.

We urge you to continue reporting any Stream issues to the Service Desk - servicedesk.liverpool.ac.uk. Your feedback regarding your experience will help us to identify and resolve problems faster.
