This module will use a blended approach to introduce foundational concepts of evidence-based practice and research methods in health care. Weekly themed lectures will be followed by active learning sessions where students will be tasked with applying concepts covered to real-world research questions.
Learning is assessed through formative methods including short online automatically marked tests throughout the semester and a 150-minute summative examination at the end of the module.
