This Year 2, Level 7, 20 credit module will focus on preparing occupational therapy students, for being ready for employment within occupational therapy practice. Following critical evaluation of progress using the Career Development Framework (RCOT, 2021), in collaboration with a University tutor, students will develop a learning contract that addresses specific selected individual learning outcomes to be achieved within this module.
This module is assessed by means of two assessments:
1. Assessment 1 is an Objective Structured Practical Examination (OSPE) (100% weighting)-students will generate, evaluate and present appropriate evidence of personal and professional development from within a completed personal continual professional development (CPD) portfolio.
2. Assessment 2 is a ten week elective practice placement (0% weighting).
