Ming joined the group in June 2011 as a postdoctoral research associate, involved in the synthesis and characterization of new porous organic cages.
Ming got his Ph.D degree from Department of Chemistry, Zhejiang University (P. R. China) in June 2009. His dissertation work concerned the preparation of interlocked architectures and novel photo-responsive supramolecular systems based on cryptands. Then he worked as a postdoctoral fellow in ICMPE (East Paris Institute of Chemistry and Materials Science) for one year, where he focused on synthesis of an artificial polymeric ion channels and investigated their ion-transport behaviours.
He likes music, reading and playing basketball in his spare time.
