Isaiah joined the Cooper group in 2023 as a Postdoctoral Research Associate where he is researching new porous organic materials for water harvesting applications. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2018. He then completed his PhD at the Georgia Institute of Technology, supervised by Dr. Christopher Jones and Dr. Ryan Lively. His thesis was focused on engineering porous organic cages into materials suited for gas separations, specifically porous liquids and polymeric fiber sorbents.
