Continuing Education in Partnership

The University of Liverpool has been part of the City of Liverpool since 1889 and places strong emphasis on the positive influence that the University can have on its local community and the wider region.

Central to the University’s work in the community is the Centre for Lifelong Learning and Continuing Education’s programme of activities which promote wider access to higher education and support the intellectual and cultural scene in the city.

Working collaboratively with a variety of local organisations – such as Tate Liverpool and National Museums Liverpool - Continuing Education runs a number of one-off free lectures and events. In addition to an annual lecture series at the Maritime Museum, CE works with National Museums Liverpool  to organise lectures which both support and complement gallery and museum collections.

There are additional events throughout the year.
