Georgina Turner Launches New Research Blog
Department of Communication and Media lecturer Dr Georgina Turner has launched a new blog about her research.
Although over time it will be a home for brief updates on various research projects, for now the blog is focused on a project looking at the impact of the ‘Berena’ storyline on the BBC serial Holby City.
Dr Turner says of the blog: “I’m collaborating with the show’s fans to create a zine around the topic of representation and mental health and wellbeing, and the blog is a way that I can communicate with participants and talk about the research more directly (and more swiftly) than via academic publishing”.
