Centre for Lifelong Learning

Re-organisation of CLL

As dawn broke on the 1st of August 2017, the University awoke to a new beginning for the previous responsibilities of the Centre for Lifelong Learning (CLL). The re-structure of the Academic Secretary's Office saw the activities of the Educational Development Division and eLearning Unit transferred into two newly created departments: The Centre for Innovation in Education (the Centre) and The Leadership, Organisational, Staff and Academic Development Academy (The Academy). Staff based in the PGR Development team transferred to the Liverpool Doctoral Collage (LDC) and are now titled the LDC Development team, whilst the Doctor of Education found a new home in the Centre for Higher Education Studies in the School of Histories, Languages and Cultures. Continuing Education and the Confucius Institute transferred from CLL into the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences.

The websites of CLL continue to function whilst information is moved to new websites for The Centre and The Academy, and existing links will be automagically redirected where possible once those pages have been created. Links to the Academy and the Centre websites will follow once available.
