Congratulations to Sam Jones on passing her viva!
Congratulations Sam!
The MRC Centre for Drug Safety Science team would like to offer their congratulations to Samantha Jones, who passed her PhD viva on July 25th 2019.
Her thesis is entitled “Investigating Mitochondrial Impairment as a Mechanism of Statin-Induced Muscle Toxicity” and has been supervised by Professor Sir Munir Pirmohamed, Professor Ana Alfirevic, Dr Amy Chadwick and Dr Dan Carr.
Following the seminar, Samantha was examined by Dr Paulo J Oliveira from the Centre for Neuroscience and Cell Biology, University of Coimbra (External examiner) and Dr Michael Cross (Internal examiner).
