An employability experience like no other

University of Liverpool international students have access to the full range of Careers & Employability support that is on offer. We also provide additional resources and support just for international students.

We are committed to the University's vision of supporting students to become creative and culturally rich graduates, with the capacity to find employment that will enable them to be agents for change in a connected world.

You can access the resources and support from the Careers Studio based in the Alsop Building in the centre of campus. We offer a comprehensive drop-in service from our team of Career Coaches, as well as access to employer sessions, careers fairs, and events specially for international students.

All students and recent graduates also have access to Handshake, our online careers platform where you can find resources to help you explore your options, connect with employers, and apply for jobs, as well as book onto events, and find job opportunities. International students also have access to Student Circus, a bespoke website full of filtered visa job listings, with internships, placement, and graduate jobs for international students.

We recognise that as an international student you will most probably have questions and concerns that are specific to your situation. We hope that these pages will help provide the information that you need, and show you where to find further help and support if you should need it.
