What can I do with my degree?

Your degree doesn't have to define your career, however it can be a good starting point!

Think about why you chose your degree subject in the first place- passion, interests, future plans? This is something that can help when deciding your path onwards from University. Don't forget, you don't have to have your whole life mapped out, your career path can change and evolve!

  • Consider employers 

Instead of basing your searches on a job role, consider particular employers of interest. Attend employer events and learn more about their values, ways of working and industries. Are there any employers that stand out to you? 

These can help you explore some initial ideas on what roles may suit you. Make a list of roles you would consider and roles that are definitely not of interest to you. Learn more about those roles that take your fancy and narrow down your list even further.
