Providing opportunities and nurturing talent

At the University of Liverpool we have a long-standing track record of improving the social mobility of our students. Our success is rooted in creating inclusive opportunities for our diverse students and we are proud of our reputation as one of the most successful Russell Group universities for widening participation.

We know that many employers share our aim of cultivating a diverse graduate workforce and creating an environment that nurtures diversity. There are many ways that we can help you to access some of our hardest-to-reach students.

Curriculum Activity

Engaging with specific courses and schools can be an effective approach to connect with underrepresented groups and meet your diversity and inclusion objectives. We can provide you with data on the student demographic across various schools and courses to help you reach the right candidates.

Careers & Employability Events

We provide priority access for underrepresented students to attend our flagship events, which for 2022/23, will include some exciting new initiatives and the return of our face to face autumn careers fair. As a result, we see healthy numbers of these students attending the events, making them an excellent source of high-quality, diverse talent.

Find out more about our Careers & Employability events in our new digital Guide to Attracting Talent in 2022-23.

Digital Promotional Campaigns

We design bespoke campaigns to promote your opportunities, events, and initiatives to our underrepresented students through Handshake and other digital channels. We are able to tailor your campaign to ensure you are reaching the right students and see positive engagement.
