Bringing employers back to campus

Now that students have returned to face to face teaching, they're keener than ever to enjoy their university experience on campus. So we're ready to welcome employers back to campus too to facilitate networks being built.

We know that for many employers, attracting students’ attention in a virtual world is difficult and standing out as a desirable graduate recruiter can be more challenging in this space. We also know that our students value organisations that can demonstrate that they care about staff wellbeing, providing sustainable careers and are authentic in their approach. That's why we've designed some light touch activities to bring employers back to campus this spring to meet and engage with our students face to face.

Host an employer showcase

Set up on campus for the day and host your very own employer showcase! Hosted either outside on University Square, or inside The Guild of Students, Employer Showcases are a great way to ease back in to face to face activities and raise your profile amongst our students.

Network over breakfast

Hosted for a couple of hours in the morning, a Networking Breakfast is the perfect opportunity to informally chat to our students over coffee and pastries and share your insights into your organisation and the opportunities available.

Bring the students to you

Let us come to you! Career Treks are your opportunity to immerse our students in your company culture, show them around your offices and let them experience for themselves what it could be like to work for you. A Career Trek typically involves a half-day site visit for a small, targeted group of students which might include insight presentations, tours and networking with current interns, placements and graduates over breakfast, lunch or refereshments.

If you'd like to know more about any of these activities, please contact employerconnections@liverpool.ac.uk
