Knowledge Exchange

The School of the Arts is distinguished for its broad range of research and knowledge exchange activities and its long-term commitment to making a positive impact on the cultural, economic, and social life of the region and beyond.

We have established on-going and fruitful research collaborations with leading institutions in the cultural industries, charities, the local council, and health services, which play a key role in the co-development of our research as well as in the enhancement of SotA's civic contribution.

Tate Exchange

Operating out of the first floor galleries at Tate Liverpool, Tate Exchange is an open experiment that seeks to explore the role of art in society. It is a new public space for collaborative projects, opening up the museum to new audiences and new ways of working. Many institutions and organisations will be hosting events and workshops in the Tate Exchange space at Tate Liverpool including academics and students from University of Liverpool.
