Merciful Sounds has had a Rebrand

Published on

The team at Merciful Sound Records wish to invite you to our official release party, on the 5th of May at the Liverpool Arts Bar at 8 pm, where we will be showcasing the four incredible acts that our record label has been working with this year!

As a grassroots-centric record label, a sense of local community is greatly important to us, and so, as a local business, we hope you will attend to be introduced to some incredible new Liverpool based talent.

Comprised of students of Liverpool University, our record label supports and nurtures the growth of grassroots music, promising to help local acts bloom and emerge into the scene with distinctive style. This year, we have also created a new label manifesto, pledging to ensure that 50% of our signed acts are women, in the hope of promoting a more gender-equal music scene in Liverpool!

The release party will act as an opportunity for our artists to showcase their unique musical styles, and celebrate the hard work they have put in over the past few months.

Our four artists, Ed Morris, Ed Beaumont, Amelia Wallace and Escapades will be performing a range of musical styles, from folk fusion to neo-jazz to rap. The eclectic blend of genres is unique to Merciful Sound and showcases the best of what our acts are contributing to the music scene in Liverpool.
