Currently 3 main areas of research -
(a) Late Medieval and Early Modern Military Architecture in Italy and the Mediterranean.
(b) 19-20c Social Housing, most recently an AHRC project on the history of early high-rise in Britain.
(c) 19-20c Library buildings, recently completed AHRC funded project on historic Public Library buildings in Britain (1850-1939).
