Acoustics

Main research fields: Vibroacoustics, structure-borne sound, building acoustics, environmental noise, sound and vibration fields, SEA, FEM, BEM, vibrotactile presentation of music.

Currently interested in receiving applications for PhD or MPhil studies in the following research areas:
- Vibroacoustics
- Sound and vibration transmission in architectural, automotive, aeronautic, space or marine structures
- Low-frequency sound insulation
- Vibrotactile stimuli for musicians with hearing impairments
- Subjective aspects of sound insulation in dwellings
- Prediction and measurement of wind noise from buildings
- Effects of vibration on museum artefacts
- Room acoustics
