"I studied Multifaith Space with my supervisor Andrew Crompton at the University of Liverpool in my postgraduate course, and I am honoured to continue this research topic for a PhD in the Liverpool School of Architecture. Multifaith Space, which emerged in large numbers after 2000s, is a sacred, novel, contradictory and controversial space, but society needs it. If you are interested in Multifaith Space, please join us."

“The opportunity to work with an industry partner and pursue research in response to the demands of our time, as part of the Low-Carbon Eco Innovatory Programme, is why I chose to study at the Liverpool School of Architecture. It is the ideal setting to combine research and action, work closer with modern methods of construction and inform industrial processes in order to maximise our resources in pursuit of a post carbon built environment. The practice-led research in collaboration with SME Ideal Modular Homes aims to develop existing processes, designs and material use towards the construction of sustainable off-site modular housing.”

My choice of university was straight forward since I was well-acquainted with the University of Liverpool's School of Architecture and its contributions to the innovative Heritage research group. Both the Architecture and Planning departments have historic associations with my research site and the Special Collections and Archives hold significant primary source materials for my work. In the end though, it was University of Liverpool's people that convinced me; my supervisors and the lecturers, professors and fellow students who collectively make University of Liverpool a world class research institution.
