Having recently dedicated an issue to the centenary of LSA alumnus James Stirling (1924-2024), the international architectural journal Casabella has been awarded the 2026 Compasso d’Oro. Through the twenty-one covers produced between 2024 and 2025 by TassinariVetta Studio, the magazine presents a distinctive exploration of letterforms rooted in the tradition of 'Typographic Architecture'. Established in 1954, the Compasso d’Oro is Italy’s most prestigious industrial design award and one of the most respected design honours internationally.

The recognition also includes the cover design for the monographic issue dedicated to the centenary of Stirling (Casabella no. 964/2024). The issue was guest-edited by LSA Reader Dr Marco Iuliano together with Dr Francesca Serrazanetti of the Polytechnic University of Milan.
