Liverpool School of Architecture’s MSc in Climate Resilience and Environmental Sustainability in Architecture will be known as MSc Net Zero Buildings from September 2026.
The new title reflects the growing importance of net zero carbon standards in the built environment globally, and the technical, design, and policy skills our graduates take into practice. It is more immediately recognisable to prospective applicants and employers, aligning with comparable programmes at other leading UK institutions.
The programme focuses on climate adaptation, passive design strategies, environmental health, whole life carbon assessment, and research methodology — equipping graduates for careers in sustainability consultancy, low-carbon design, and the built environment professions.
