The School, under the headship of Professor Soumyen Bandyopadhyay, is delighted to be supporting the programme and three of its MArch students on a one month fellowships in Venice this summer.

The steward–research fellowships will provide a four week residency in Venice as part of the 2018 Venice Architecture Biennale, (running from May to November).

The fellows will help to steward the British Pavilion whilst studying and researching .

"Fellows choose one of several core themes, which are investigated through site-specific and archival research focused either on the biennale or within Venice itself. Selected submissions will be published online, on the Fellowships Blog, contributing to a cumulative body of research. The stewarding role comes with a high level of responsibility, offering a breadth of experience and the chance to engage with a wide range of people."
