British Council Venice Fellowship Programme 2020 Launch

Andy Lane an M.Arch student of Liverpool School of Architecture selected to become a Fellow at the 2019 Venice Art Biennale, the theme of which was ‘May you live in Interesting Times’, will talk about his month in Venice as a Fellow looking after the British Pavilion and the Cathy Wilkes exhibition plus carrying out of his independent research ‘The spread of style within architecture’. 

Laura Broderick Fellowship Programme Manager will launch the British Council Fellowship Programme for 2020 and invite applications for the 17th International Architecture Exhibition, curated by Hashim Sarkis and themed ‘How will we live together' running 23 May to November 29th.

The Venice Fellowships enables students, graduates and researchers to spend a month in Venice during one of the world’s most significant art and architecture exhibition organised by La Biennale di Venezia. This year the British Council is working with 29 partner universities and institutions to send 69 Fellows to Venice.
