    About

    Personal Statement

I joined the School of Archaeology, Classics, and Egyptology in late 2020 as a Research Assistant on the UKRI-funded project "Digital Library of Historic British Mortuary and Science Investigation", led by Dr Ruth Nugent. My role on this project involves identifying and locating medieval sources which describe the burial and/or translation of historic bodies. The sources I work with, primarily saints' lives, are in Old English, Middle English, and Latin.

Before joining the University of Liverpool I worked as Lecturer in Medieval English at Newcastle University (2019-2020). Prior to this I worked as Tutor and Assistant Lecturer at University College Cork, Ireland (2014-2018), where I gained my PhD in 2019.
