Research Interests and Current Projects
My research focuses on Greek poetry from the Archaic to the Early Byzantine period. As a papyrologist, I decipher and translate Greek literature on papyri, collaborating with several papyrus collections in the UK and worldwide. My main research project is a four-volume corpus of anonymous hexameter poems on papyri. I am also interested in Hellenistic and Imperial literature; I am currently working towards producing a new edition of the fragments and epigrams of the late fourth century poet-philologist Simias of Rhodes, and editing a Handbook of Early Hellenistic Poetry.
