Peet Travel Award
The Peet Travel Award is available to support travel and associated costs for research into the archaeology and languages of the pre-Classical Mediterranean, including Egypt and the Near East, as well as the archaeology of early Greece and Rome.
Travel should be to the Mediterranean or other locations (such as Museums and Universities) where relevant material or archives are housed. Travel can also involve participation in an archaeological project, relevant summer school or similar activity. Please note that the range of awards is normally between £200-500.
The scheme is open to any postgraduate researchers and Masters candidates undertaking research in a relevant area. Undergraduates who have successfully completed a previous first degree at Liverpool or another British university are also eligible to apply. Postgraduate researchers who have been awarded funding from the Peet Travel Award for two consecutive years in the past are not eligible to apply.
How to Apply
Applications for the next round of Peet Travel Awards will be due for submission in April 2019; further details will follow on this page.
